How much does the app cost for employees?

Nothing. The app is free for employees. Their location is not tracked.

How do employees get access?

The company or the accounting firm creates a login and sends the credentials by email; self-registration is not possible. Employees then download the “Cleva” app from the App Store or Google Play and log in. It also works in the browser.

Do recorded hours flow into payroll automatically?

No. The company sees time, holidays and expenses immediately, as an overview and as an export, and uses them as the basis for the payroll run. Whatever affects pay is entered by the company in the payroll run.

What do employees see in the app?

The time clock with weekly balance, the holiday balance with requests, their expenses and all payslips as PDF, plus the documents from their personnel file. The app is in German.
