Do my customers need a login?
No. Every document goes out by email with a personal link. On the document page the customer accepts the quote or pays the invoice with the QR code. You see when and how often the link was opened, and you can block it.
How much does invoicing cost?
Invoicing is included in Cleva Lohn & Faktura, from CHF 19 per month excl. VAT. AI costs only arise if you use the chat. Try it free for 30 days, no credit card needed.
Can I still change an approved invoice?
No, approved documents are locked. Corrections are made with a credit note or a cancellation with a reason; the credit note for the full amount is created automatically.
In which languages do quotes and invoices go out?
In German, French, Italian and English. Documents and emails go out in the language stored for the customer.
Can Cleva send reminders and reconcile payments?
Yes. You send reminders for overdue invoices in a reminder run, in stages, with a reminder fee and default interest if agreed. You reconcile payments with your bank statement (camt.053, camt.054 or CSV).
Can I export and archive invoices?
Yes. Every document is stored as a PDF in the portal, and you can export documents and customers as CSV. Approved documents are locked, and real payments can only be deleted with a deletion password and a reason. That keeps it traceable what was sent and paid.
Is invoicing a separate program?
No. Invoicing is part of Cleva Lohn & Faktura: the same login and the same company account as payroll. Accounting firms invoice directly in their clients’ company accounts.
